I Will Never: Scrapbook

It seems like everyone has jumped on the bandwagon of scrapbooking. Some people live for starting up a new scrapbook. Whether its one about a wedding, a new family member, a vacation, or just whatever you feel like making. Scrapbooking? More like crapbooking.

No, I do not want to see your scrapbook about your childs potty training process

My mom went through a scrapbooking phase and she always wanted me to help.

Thanks, but no thanks

Not about that life

Between the book, pictures, all the different kinds of paper, glue, fancy scissors, and glitter it's overwhelming. Just looking at all the different styles of scissors that cut different patterns bothers me.  So does al the stationary and stamps. The way that some people scrapbook just makes me shudder.

#NeverEver

I think there are so many other cool ways to remember major events in our lifetime. Now that social media is such a major thing, people post pictures of the things that are going on in our lives and its easy to share with one another. So much better than your parents bringing out the baby pictures and showing them to your date.

Gotta love parents

I am never going to be a scrapbooking kind of person. That is why I am adding it to my Anti-Bucket List. What about you, do you like scrapbooking or what is on your Anti-Bucket List?

I Will Never: Walk on Burning Coals

Have any of you ever wanted to walk across burning coals? Not me. I have never seen the point of risking a burn on the bottom of your feet. The temperature of coals can reach over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit and the human flesh burns at temperatures much lower.

The trick is to get your feet very wet before you walk across the coals. Once you start walking across them, the moisture will evaporate. And you are supposed to speed walk across them. Sure, if you keep thinking positive thoughts and be sure to move across them quickly, you are able to complete this task. But of course I can't help but think "what if?" I feel that something would go wrong. Knowing my luck I would trip and fall flat on my face.

Enjoy this amazing GIF of Oprah walking across the burning coals. If Oprah can do it then I can too, right? HAHAHA no. This just proves once again that Oprah is incredible and is better than I'll ever be.

Yeah! Go Oprah!

Getting over your fears and making life changes

Overcoming your fears and anxiety is hard. And it's even harder when it's a big change.  Even though it may be hard, the feeling afterward is very rewarding. We all make excuses for not doing something because our fears take over. We are scared because we don't know what to expect or that we don't trust ourselves enough. When in reality we should give ourselves more credit than that. Most of our fears are created in our head. I think you should enjoy the process of moving forward. But that might be hard to hear coming from someone who is running a blog about an anti-bucket list.

Fear is the most common challenge and obstacle people come across. Here are eight ways to slaughter your fears.

Americas Top Fears - Public Speaking is the highest with 25.3% and ghosts at the lowest with 7.3%

Washington Post

New pursuits open up even more opportunities that come up along your path to your goal. So take opportunities and risks. Get out of your comfort zone. I've been thinking a lot lately about taking chances and overcoming your fears. The truth is, everytime you take a risk in your life, no matter how it ends, you always are glad that you did. So be spontaneous and take risks because that's what make life so exciting.

I Will Never: Study As Much As I Should For Finals

It's at that point of the semester again. It's a week dedicated to breakdowns, cram study sessions, lots and lots of coffee, no sleep, oh, and I guess exams.  Literally everything becomes more entertaining than studying.  You walk around campus and you find people glued to their text books or scattered around taking power naps and you just accept it.

Keep the Red Bull and coffee coming

I'm slowly dying on the inside

Seriously everywhere you look

Sleep deprivation

This is normal

Again, remind me why I am paying to be tortured? We are studying all this information we will never use for a job we won't have when we graduate. Great.

Take a left in 5 miles

Then the exams come around and people forget how to function correctly.

Stress has completely taken over

1 exam done, 4 more to go

We all go through these stages
Calculating the minimum exam grade you can escape with

I'm about to become real freaking adorable then

And people show up in the most bizarre outfits

You have what?

Not a care in the world

What was going though your head this morning?

Then there's me:

Because I am fabulous

"How's finals going?"

Cue the midlife crisis

And some professors seem to have no mercy

I think professor live for finals week

Angelica is the university and I am Chuckie

Priorities

But keep in mind, you will get to experience this soon.

Party like theres no tomorrow

You gotta whip out The Carlton
Now you have an excuse to eat treats. You're welcome.

Bring on the cheesecake, brownies and ice cream

But in reality, I'll never study as much as I should for finals.  Every semester I tell myself I'm going to study more and not procrastinate everything, but it never happens.  Just like how I'm writing this blog post about finals instead of actually studying for them.  There is no motivation left in the semester.  All I can focus on is Christmas.

But just remember,

You're making me blush

This will help you get through Accounting

I Will Never: Solve a Rubik's Cube

Do you remember being a kid and one of your goals was to solve a Rubik's cube? And you had competitions with your friends or fellow classmates that you would solve one before them? And that it took too long to solve, or you were just frustrated that you gave up. And you contemplated all the different ways you could cheat. Or was that just me?

Not going to lie I tried this once
What? Me? Cheat? No, never!

Blood sweat and tears
Although it was a goal of mine when I was younger, I never want to solve a Rubik's Cube. I mean, lets be real. Are there any bragging rights? Will you be ranked higher than me? No. And like who cares? No one.

"Get on my level"
Guys and guitars are my weakness
I can't even deal

Preach it
That is why solving a Rubik's Cube will NOT be added to my bucket list. What about you, have you solved one or will you not be satisfied with life until you do?

I Will Never: Get an Ugly Christmas Sweater Suit

Out of the way ugly christmas sweaters, a new tacky christmas attire is coming to town. What better way to show up to a holiday party than sporting one of these bad boys? For $109 one of these suits can be all yours. TAKE MY MONEY NOW!

How much do you think these guys were paid?

"I got my suit on guys, let's hit the slopes!"

Kinda seems like it

The comment from the lady kills me

I agree, your husband would look adorable in the blue one

Not only does it look like they are covered in wrapping paper, but could you imagine how uncomfortable it would be to wear? I'm sorry, but you look ridiculous.

Go home
Props to the guy that came up with this idea if he makes any money off of it.

*slow cap*
I think this suit is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. That is why I am adding it to my anti bucket-list. I will never be caught dead wearing one. What about you, would you purchase one?

If you are interested in buying one, here is the link , But you gotta act fast, the snowman one is already sold out.

I Will Never: Take the Polar Bear Plunge

Living in Utah for over 20 years you would think I would be used to the cold by now. I wish. It's actually ridiculous how bad my attitude gets once I become even a little bit cold. It makes me become lazy and not want to leave the house. Ever.

I need to invest in one of these

Sorry I couldn't make it to class, professor

It seems as though everyone enjoys the winter except for me. They all talk about how magical this weather is and how much fun stuff there is to do. I would probably enjoy this time of year more if I was actually good at snowboarding or skiing. I went snowboarding once and I whined and was on my butt the entire day. Between being cold and falling down all day long I was not a happy camper.

Sums up my vocabulary during the winter

I will DESTROY anyone who dares do this to me

So... With that being said. There is no way I will ever participate in the Polar Bear Plunge. Jumping into freezing cold water with just a swim suit on sounds miserable. Hundreds of people every year take the plunge into the Atlantic Ocean on January 1st to celebrate the New Year. I would rather celebrate by enjoying a cup of coffee by a warm fire place.

Nothing welcomes the New Year quite like shivering
I'm cold just looking at this picture
What about you, how do you feel about the cold or what's on your anti bucket list?
